Angelique Houtkamp Line Drawings

One of my favourite artists and contributor to my last book Art by Tattooists, Angelique Houtkamp, has just released a new book of Line Drawings.

As a tattooist and artist inspired by classic tattoo style and themes, her work has been tattooed to countless limbs and torsos, some at her hand, some designed specifically by Angelique through her remote tattoo design process but many just copied from her previous work.

With her new book she provides inspiration for tattoos as well as ready-to-tattoo line drawings of her work, within a 30 page ring bound edition. Each page is themed with various hearts, skulls, snakes, circus designs, sailors and pin ups in Angelique's inimitable style. Thanks to her new book people who aren't able to be tattooed by Houtkamp herself, can have a authentic Houtkamp designed tattoo - a must for all tattoo enthusiasts and admirers of her work!

Signed and numbered copies can be ordered from her website www.salonserpent.com

The show runs until 29th August. For more info, all the details are on the gallery's website HERE.

Skuitar

Our friend, artist and musician extraordinaire Log Roper has just produced this fantastic video of how he made the Skuitar: a skateboard-guitar, for The Decked Project. I absolutely love it so I had to post it here! Nice one Log!

Indie Craft

IndieCraft2.jpg

Got these beauties in the post yesterday! They're the first copies of my new book Indie Craft as mentioned on here before.

This is the most exciting part: after all the hard work is done, and after only seeing it on screen or as a print out, to finally see a copy of the finished book over a year after the process began!
