A few weeks ago a very interesting exhibition opened in Liverpool. Drum N Basin is an installation of a completely skate-able full pipe and bowl by US art collective Simparch. It's installed at The Coach Shed in the cities Greenland Street art space, which is operated by A Foundation, who describe the show as "a large-scale architectural intervention". Here are a few photos ('borrowed' from the A Foundation website) of the show which is on until April next year. Hoping to go up there and take some photos myself in the not too distant...

There's just over a week to go until the next show I'm organising -Spine's Christmas group show - starts. It's an affordable art fair with prices ranging from £1.50 to £100. My contribution is going to be some badges. I'm hurridly making as many as I can in the time left. I decided to use recycled paper and fabric for them and I'm really pleased with the results. My favourite ones so far are made from Japanese greetings cards, each badge is a complete one-off as no one badge will have the exact same pattern. I've also used wrapping paper, newspaper, old stamps, scrap bits of denim, and typing onto bits of scrap paper. I'm really enjoying it actually. Fernando Elvira is currently preparing for a show in Barcelona alongside Javier Mendizabal. He sent me some photos of a recent mural he completed in Bilbao for an ad agency, as well as photos taken in his studio in Barcelona. Click more info for the rest of the pics. He'll be sending along photos from the show itself once it opens, which if these photos are anything to go by, will be a treat to behold.

I finished all my badges for the Affordable Art Fair at Spine and made them up into little packs. Really pleased with the results:
