Art related xmas presents
Happy New Year. I thought I'd post up some of the art related xmas presents I sent and we received. First up is the rather marvelous book Street Sketchbook by Tristan Manco. We were very pleased to receive this and I'd much rather have had this than a straight graffiti book. Loads of sketches and doodles from the likes of Ekta, Microbo and a whole host of others. We were also given these lovely prints by our good friend Simon Peplow. You'll be able see more of Si's work and read all about him in an upcoming issue of Modart.
Amongst other things I bought Chris the Usugrow book and a T-shirt, which can be purchased online from Upper Playground in the US.
I also painted this for my brother's girlfriend: a watercolour of Edie Sedgewick. I haven't given it to her yet as will be having a belated xmas catch up later this week, but as she's an Edie fan and this luckly turned out looking like it was meant to, she'll hopefully be pleased with it.
