Treats

Last week I received an amazing package from my friend Carolina in Barcelona. She's a freelance curator and works at the gallery and bookstore Ras. She sent me some copies of Barcelona Skate and Culture magazine Uno, some badges, postcards, a fantastic tote bag, a catalogue from Miss Van's recent exhibition in Paris, and three zines by photgrapher Sergej Vutuc, including one that was screwed to a piece of an old skateboard (genius!), which he had also signed for me. Fantastic stuff. Thank you Carolina! Click more info for a closer look of Sergej's book.

New Tattoo

This weekend Chris kindly gave me a brand new tattoo: a swallow above my ankle. The design of the bird was based on the scraperboard piece below he did a while ago called 'Shine On'. Click more info to see pictures of the tattoo in progress.

Sk8Face

Just found out about this movie: SK8FACE. It's all about the history of the skateboard graphic. Not sure when it's out or how to get hold of it, but here's the trailer, and looks like a corker!
