Kev Grey has just released a new book of a selection of his artwork to date which includes examples of his black and white drawings/illustrations that have been featured in his various solo and group shows, plus his murals and work for other people such as skate graphics, record covers and the guitar he designed for The Cure's Porl Thompson. And the introduction to the book was written by me!
It's packed full of great images and is a bargain £7 (+ P&P) and is available direct from his website www.kevgrey.com. For a few more photos of the book and the full press release click 'continue reading' below.

As is usually the case, I've been working my way through a pile of (mostly art related) books and thought I'd share some of my current favourites. Click 'continue reading' below to see close up photos and more info on each book.

Handmade Nation is the excellent book and documentary I mentioned in my previous post. It takes a look at the thriving indie craft scene across the US. The film is currently premiering around the US. Here's the trailer:
Yesterday I received this rather excellent book of postcards by Girls Who Draw, a collective of very creative ladies. Tomorrow night they launch their exhibition Misfits and Miscellany at The Exposure Gallery in London. The private view is on from 6.30 - 9.30pm and judging by the artwork in the book, it's well worth a look.
For more info on the individual artists and the exhibition, check out the Girls Who Draw website at http://girlswhodraw.wordpress.com
