I love old books and this one has been making me chuckle all week. It's a 1940s knitting pattern book I picked up from a local vintage shop in Worcester, and it's called 'Modern Knitting Illustrated' by Jane Koster and Margaret Murray (Odhams Press, 1940s). It's full of unintentionally hilarious photos and captions. Such as:

"Three smart girls, who know the value of comfort, choose to wear knitted jumpers at informal afternoon tea parties..."

The other day I helped Chris print up his biggest lino print yet. It was a two man job just to manoeuvre the roll of paper into position over the two A2 sized lino blocks. The Vintage & Craft Fair I'd been helping to organise and frantically make things for finally took place last Friday 24th July in Worcester (UK). All our hard work paid off and we'd created an exciting new event for the city with lots of Vintage clothing and wares and lovely handmade art and DIY Craft on offer.
To promote our Vintage & Craft Fair event we did a spot of Guerrilla Knitting around Worcester town centre, including this bold move of giving Worcester's famed and precious Elgar statue some lovely new leg warmers!
