Ok. It’s coming. We’re out of construction and under development. From the sand of San Diego, to the halls of Ispo 2003, to two years of Modart Magazine, we’re excited to start sharing the website we’re building with you.
Sharing is fun.
Art is often bloody.
Bloody can often be part of fun.
Is that twisted? Is it rush? A way to feel cut and conscious in a world of illusion?
Doesn’t matter.
On the site you’ll find content from back issues, content you won’t find in back issues, a gallery of artists we’ve worked with, dig or hit us right in the heart.
You can also check the calendar for upcoming art and music events around Europe … now that’s it up, you can also submit your own actions.
We’re out of the cocoon. This is just a taste of what we’ve been digesting. We’ll pass the rest out soon.
Issue 12 is off the presses. With work from Moki, Wayne Horse, an interview by Jo Waterhouse with Thomas Campbell and more – even a nice new spine … gotta start taking care of all the banged up vertebrae.
Have a look around, come back in a few weeks. This site is going to slowly start changing faster, growing at a sustainable rate and thawing out the stale context in which many of us art lovers have been shown so-called art.
High brow, low brow, no brow – just like Old School, New School, Forget Schools … education essential, but were the Sex Pistols on the money? Are schools prisons?
Who knows … look at the images, they speak more articulately than I ever will.
