Modart in Miami

As Tobias prepares his speedo and his Pink Shark for the beach, we’re going to introduce you to the artists we will be presenting at the Scope Art Fair.
Lead off batter is none other than Mr. Logan Hicks. Out of Baltimore, Maryland Logan single handedly appears to have reinvented a medium.

Known for his hyper-detailed, meticulously hand cut stencils, he’s rocketed to the ranks of contemporary arts and kept it real without caring too much about the parlance of our times.
His approach is borderline obsessive, a true labor of love, and while Logan has had a tremendous impact on urban arts, he has also successfully walked the line between being a commercial artist and simply (or not), an artist – Period
Here’s a glimpse of Logan at work. Keep your eyes on the clock – you’ll see why his company Workhorse Visuals is so appropriately named.
Logan also keeps a very personal blog that’s well worth a read.

In addition to showing with Modart in Miami, he is also deeply involved with an amazing event parallel to the fairs – Primary Fleight!!!! – more on them birds soon.
