Photographers, street artists, graphic artists, painters and video artists worldwide, get ready for the first edition of Artrmx Cologne (Germany) in August 2008! Send in your works about the theme "Where is my mind?" before April 15th and get noticed by internationally acclaimed curators and artists when you get selected to be part of one of the exhibitions that are organised all over town.
Taking place in August 2008, Artrmx Cologne is a theme based art festival that presents contemporary photography, street art, graphics/illustration and video art in an extraordinary frame. It's a platform for lively exchanges between international artists, collectors, gallery owners and people interested in arts.
The exhibitions take place in different locations such as galleries, apartments, empty buildings or off-locations throughout the city and Artrmx Cologne invites young artists to participate and send in their work based on the 2008 theme "Where is my mind?". The organisation will assemble and distribute these works among the different exhibition spaces in collaboration with artistic advisors like Dr. Barbara J. Scheuermann (curator Tate Modern London), Claudia Stein (chief editor Photography Now), Gérard Goodrow (director Art Cologne), Rik Reinking (curator | collector), Zevs (street artist | Paris), Boris Hoppek (street artist and graphic designer | Barcelona), Prof. Julia Scher (artist | professor KHM), Georg Elben (head of Videonale 10 and 11 in Bonn | curator).
So take your chance and apply on the website www.artrmx.com before April 15th!
