Ben Horton at Swiv Tackle Circus
Tomorrow, "gallertique" Swiv Tackle Circus is opening its doors! Part gallery, part boutique this place will host shows and sell artists' merchandise in Oceanside, California. Apart from starting up today, everyone's very invited to their official grand opening celebration on March 28th, when they will present the first exhibition "Memory Sale" by Ben Horton.
Ben Horton has been in skate design and fine art since forever. As a creative director for several skateboard brands and owner of his own brand, $LAVE, he's already marked his way with style in contemporary culture. He's contributed to many gallery shows and has recently been chosen to participate in the RVCA Artist Network Program.
As for Swiv Tackle Circus, this space will not only house the already infamous "gallertique", but will also have a backstage with an artist workspace, a recording studio, offices for the Keep A Breast foundation (a non-profit organization informing young people about breast cancer) and a publicity firm, as well as a storage room, photo studio and meeting area!
