The Fame Festival Opens

Last Saturday the much awaited Fame Festival, organized by Studio Cromie, opened to the public in an old ceramics factory and on the streets of Grottaglie, Italy. This small town in the south of Italy, famous for its rich ceramics history, was not immediately accepting of the idea of this huge exhibition with some of today's biggest names in the street art game. But once the quality of the work was proven to them art triumphed and the town joined together in this artistic celebration.
The wine was flowing and the food unreal. The citizens of Grottaglie at first did not want to recognize the work of the all-star line-up of artists as credible art but once they saw the amazing creations they opened their minds and began to learn.
The artists who participated included: Above, Blu, Bo130, Chloe Early, Conor Harrington, Dave Kinsey, Eine, Erica Il Cane, Ethos, JR, Lucy Mclauchlan, Mantis and Microbo.
