Last Sunday Jordan Seiler and others organized nearly 90 whitewashers and artists to go out for the second New York Street Advertising Takeover (NYSAT). The goal was to take back nearly 115 advertising spaces in lower Manhattan that have been illegally postered by various advertising companies. This was the second action of its kind and was met with a lot more readiness by both the police and the advertising companies, resulting in a few arrests and most of the artwork being covered up by new ads before the end of the day.
